Elite College Football Camp Recruitment Tour
Overview
Elite Amateur Sports (EAS) is a multi-media platform created to provide exposure for athletes competing in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. EAS through thorough coverage of amateur sports has developed a following of over 10,000 users over multiple social media platforms and continues to grow as we enter our fourth year of operation.
EAS has collaborated with current NBA player Patrick McCaw, to provide elite coverage of the Patrick McCaw ProAm. We provide exposure for participants as well as a training tool for players and coaches. We have worked with Adidas Rivals Camp football camp, Bradley Beal Elite Nike Elite Basketball Program, led a coach’s panel for Missouri Minority Coaches Association, featured on Hudl’s original series Contender, as well as interviewed Jayson Tatum, Markus Golden, and a host of tomorrow’s promising talent in the Midwest area.
Through our work, we have met a tremendous amount of talented student athletes from many different circumstances. While some student athletes’ families are able to financially fulfill the cost of attending camps, many families cannot. Because of this barrier, kids face an unfair advantage leaving them on the outside looking in when it is time to pick scholarship opportunities.
Elite Recruitment Tour establishes a program for student athletes who may not have the means financially to attend the important college football camps over the summer. Without attendance at college camps the student athlete chances of getting a scholarship decreases. In the city of St. Louis 28% of children, live below the poverty line. Meaning more than a fourth could miss an opportunity on an athletic scholarship. According to the College Board, the average cost of tuition and fees for the 2017–2018 school year was over $34,00 at private colleges, $9,000 for state residents, and $25,000 for out-of-state tuitions.
